John provides accountancy and tax services from his office in south Leeds. His practice is part of the AIMS association of independent qualified accountancy practices, effectively a national firm of over 250 partner practices supported by a full time head office team in London. This national strength combined with flexible local support to small and medium sized businesses provides a powerful alternative to traditional high street practices. AIMS accountants do not charge by the hour. Fees are agreed in advance payable by interest free standing orders that benefit a client's cash flow so there are never any surprises.
John has over 23 years of experience in accountancy gained both domestically and internationally (Canada, Grand Cayman, Guernsey) in a wide variety of industries including public practice, insolvency (government and private practice), engineering, commercial finance, private and corporate trust, motor dealerships, franchisor retailer, international joint venture/subsidiaries, banking, charitable board positions (Canada), textile manufacturing, the largest urban day spa in Canada together with its sister training college. John has also lectured to accountancy and trust students in a freelance capacity for BPP Guernsey. This experience allows him to provide valuable insights into most business situations. Any new areas will be supported from knowledge within the existing AIMS network and/or head office. John is an active networker and can connect clients with other professionals where appropriate.
