Important Information
Having had to be on the road at 6.30 this morning and seen the state of the roads, talked to some members and looked at the weather forecast I have decided the best thing to do is cancel our meeting tomorrow Morning.
I am very disappointed especially as this was to be our first meeting at our new prestigious venue, however I cannot contemplate the thought getting a phone call from a member (or spouse) saying they have had an accident trying to attend. Though networking is important it’s not worth risking life and limb.
Our next meeting will be on the 22nd and we can only hope that conditions are better then.
I was going to take the opportunity to get final number for our fantastic annual social event on the 20th of January so instead could I ask you to please email me if you wish to attend or not with the number of bookings. Remember it will be 3 courses with coffee for less that £15,00 and I will be issuing receipts for attending the ;-) networking event ;-) so it is deductable.
Knowing my luck the expected snow and freeze will not descend and I will have made the wrong decision, however I felt needed to make one and have done so based on the best information and member wellbeing in mind.
